During the Munich Security Conference, Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili held a meeting with James O’Brien, the US Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs.
The discussions centered on the strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States, regional security issues, Georgia’s peace initiatives, and the current situation in the occupied territories.
The talks also covered sectoral cooperation and highlighted the successful visit of Mr. O’Brien to Georgia in the previous year. The parties exchanged views on strengthening cooperation in various directions.
