Georgian FM: Deeply saddened about helicopter crash that caused death of Iranian President and other officials

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, expressed deep sorrow over the death of the Iranian president and his accompanying persons in a plane crash.

Darchiashvili extended his condolences to the Iranian people and the families of the deceased.

“Deeply saddened about the recent helicopter crash that caused the death of President Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-abdollahian and other officials. My deepest condolences to the people of Iran and the families of the deceased,” the Minister wrote.
