Georgian FM deems participation in FAC session 'unique opportunity' for nation

Georgian Foreign Minister, Ilia Darchiashvili, on Monday, deemed participation in the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) session, “a unique opportunity to inform partners about Georgia’s clear demonstrable accomplishments in meeting the 12 points.”

He went on to say that the session, underway in Luxemburg, would cover the Georgian government’s reform agenda, plans, and activities, aiming to bring Georgia even closer to the European Union. “Also, most likely, I will meet with the European Commissioner to talk about the EU-Georgia agenda.”

Darchiashvili added that the session would also review the security situation in the region.
