Georgian First Channel fell victim of a cyber attack.

As a result of the cyberattack, a virus was spread in the broadcaster’s network, encrypting and destroying important files kept on the servers.

The spread of the virus to other servers has been avoided at this time.

Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia is informed about this fact.
