Georgian fighter killed in Ukraine buried with military honor

Georgian volunteer fighter killed in Ukraine on April 16, Alika Tsaava was buried with military honor in Zugdidi town on Saturday.

Civilians and military officers commemorated the Georgian fighter. Ukrainian military attaché in Georgia, General-Mayor Sergei Kravchuk arrived in Zugdidi and condoled to the family.

“Russia has been waging an occupation war in Ukraine for more than two months. From the very first day of the war, Georgians volunteered to fight in Ukraine to defend Ukraine’s independence. Unfortunately, today we have ten deaths. Today I arrived in Tbilisi to say goodbye to our hero, who sacrificed his life for the independence of Ukraine. We are confident that Ukraine will win. We always feel the support of our brothers, the Georgian people,” Kravchuk said.
