Georgian Embassy in Israel unharmed after nearby shelling, mission remains operational
A shell landed near the Georgian Embassy in Israel, the Embassy reported. The building was not damaged, and the diplomatic mission continues to operate.
“In light of the current security situation, the Embassy of Georgia in the State of Israel continues to function under special conditions,” the statement reads.
“Today, a shell fell in the vicinity of the building housing the Georgian Embassy. Fortunately, the embassy was not damaged. The mission is following all security protocols set by local authorities and remains operational.
We urge Georgian citizens in Israel to closely follow the instructions of local authorities.
