Georgian Economy Minister expects fuel prices to drop

Georgian Economy Minister expects fuel prices to drop further as the Competition Agency studied the market and has “interesting findings.”

Levan Davitashvili Monday stressed the need for more communication with both fuel retailers and importers.

“Therefore, on the PM’s instructions, the importing team and I will have a direct dialogue with the Competition Agency. We will work with them for a couple of days to verify these findings or wait for more solid arguments, resulting in price adjustments,” the Minister stated.
