Georgian Defense Minister pays official visit to Jordan

Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze has paid an official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hnaity, hosted the Minister.

According to the MOD press office, the parties discussed Georgia-Jordan defense cooperation and set plans for future cooperation.

Juansher Burchuladze thanked the Major General for Jordan’s unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

A memorandum of cooperation between two countries has been in affect since 2021, with the goal of developing military cooperation.

As part of his official visit to Jordan, Georgian Defense Minister, together with the delegation, visited The King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC) and The Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB).
