Georgian Defense Minister meets Azerbaijani counterpart

Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze met his Azerbaijani counterpart Colonel General Zakir Hasanov within the framework of a trilateral ministerial held in Turkey.

As part of their meeting, the two defence ministers discussed the regional security environment, peace and stability, as well as jointly carried out and ongoing projects.

Both parties discussed participating in multinational training and cooperating in military education.

Georgia, Turkey, and Azerbaijan have been cooperating trilaterally since 2012. Turkey hosts a trilateral defence ministerial this year based on the rotation principle.
