The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Andriy Taran, arrived in Georgia to attend the event dedicated to Independence Day. Georgian Defense Minister Juansher Burchuladze hosted the guest at the Ministry on Tuesday.
Two Ministers reaffirmed their unwavering support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both countries. They stressed the importance of a peaceful settlement of the conflicts.
The meeting discussed important issues, including the Black Sea and regional security, enhancing defense capabilities and compatibility with NATO and cooperation spheres.
The Ministers signed a 2021 bilateral cooperation plan. According to the plan, the Georgian and Ukrainian sides will share experiences in various fields.
