Georgian Defence Forces to involve in firefighting in Kvareli Municipality

Georgian Defence Force will involve in fire extinguishing works in Kvareli Municipality as Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has signed a relevant decree, the government’s press office reported on Friday.

The fire erupted in the forest near Shilda village in the Kvareli Municipality on 1 September.

Locals believe three fire pockets are spreading over the mountain’s rugged terrain.
