Georgian Defence Ministry and US officials convene for bilateral security support and foreign military financing review

The Georgian Ministry of Defence hosted a series of financial review meetings concerning US security assistance from 14–16 September 2026. The discussions focused on the delivery of US Foreign Military Financing (FMF) and other defence assistance channels allocated to Georgia.

According to the Georgian Defence Ministry, the Georgian delegation was represented by the Deputy Commander of the Defence Forces, alongside officials from the General Staff.

The US delegation comprised representatives from United States European Command (USEUCOM) and the Defence Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA).
