Georgian Defence Minister meets with Supreme Commander of NATO Forces in Europe
Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Garibashvili has met with Tod Wolters, the Supreme Commander of the NATO Allied Forces in Europe.
According to the press service of the Georgian Defense Ministry, Irakli Garibashvili thanked Tod Walters for NATO’s support for Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and Euro-Atlantic integration.
The meeting focused on Georgia’s role in ensuring international security, as well as the importance of planned international military exercises in Georgia.
The parties also discussed regional security challenges and Georgia’s role in the Black Sea security architecture.
