Georgian Defence Minister meets Lithuanian colleague
Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze on Monday hosted his Lithuanian colleague Arvydas Anušauskas and discussed the security challenges in the region, Georgian Defence Ministry (MOD) has said.
Burchuladze called Lithuania “an exceptional, resolute, and devoted strategic partner” of Georgia.
Georgian Minister introduced to his colleague the MOD-implemented reforms concerning compatibility with NATO and EU standards.
The duo also touched on the close strategic cooperation between the Ministries, as well as the expanding dynamics of bilateral cooperation and prospects.
At the end of the meeting, the pair signed a joint communique on strategic defence cooperation.
