Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze hosted Javier Colomina, the NATO Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia, thanking him for his unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
According to the Defence Ministry’s press office, the duo talked about the security environment and regional challenges.
Amid the ongoing war in Ukraine, Burchuladze focused on the importance of increasing Georgia’s defense capability, sustainability, cyber-defense capabilities, and compatibility with NATO, underscoring the need to deepen the political and practical cooperation of the alliance.
Javier Colomina, arrived in Georgia for an official visit to discuss NATO-Georgia cooperation and the country’s progress on the Euro-Atlantic integration path.
