Georgian Defence Minister holds phone talk with Turkish counterpart

Georgian Defence Minister Irakli Chikovani holds a phone call with Turkish counterpart Yaşar Güler.

According to the Ministry of Defence, the two ministers reviewed regional security and bilateral cooperation-related issues.

“The defence ministers of Georgia and Turkiye discussed the current situation in the region and the threats. Irakli Chikovani and Yaşar Güler pledged support and readiness to contribute to peace and stability in the region,” the Ministry said.
