Georgian Defence Forces Chief hosts Slovak colleague

The Chief of the Georgian Defence Forces, Giorgi Matiashvili hosted General Daniel Zmeko, a Slovak military leader and the current Chief of the General Staff of the Slovak Armed Forces, discussing bilateral cooperation.

General Matiashvili thanked his colleague for Slovakia’s firm support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The parties talked about the regional and global security challenges. Matiashvili informed Zmeko about Georgia’s reforms in its defense forces.
