Georgian, Danish PMs hold phone call

European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia, bilateral relations and military activities currently waged in Ukraine were among the key topics of discussion between Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia and Mette Frederiksen, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Denmark today.

According to Press Service of the Government Administration, the focus was made on the development of events in Ukraine and the significance of joint efforts demonstrated by the international community for ending the war as soon as possible.

Progress achieved by Georgia in the process of European and Euro-Atlantic integration was highlighted at the meeting.

Irakli Garibashvili noted that an official application for EU membership was made by the country and support of allies in the process acquires great significance. The Prime Minister of Georgia expressed optimism about support from the Kingdom of Denmark on this path.

Irakli Garibashvili expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Denmark for the solid support of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
