Andria Putkaradze, the Georgian contender for the 2024 Junior Eurovision Song Contest (JESC), will take the stage at Number 9 on November 16.
Andria, who emerged victorious in the seventh season of the GPB First Channel’s Ranina project, will showcase the song To My Mom during the contest. The song is set to premiere online on October 13.
Giga Kukhianidze composed the music for the To My Mom song, while the lyrics were co-written by Maka Davitaia. The Georgian Public Broadcaster produced a music video, with the costume design crafted by Iza Nadareishvili.
The upcoming 2024 JESC will unfold in Madrid, featuring young talents from 17 different countries. This edition marks the highest number of participating nations since 2021.
The countries represented include Georgia, Albania, Armenia, Cyprus, Estonia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, San Marino, Spain, and Ukraine.
The slogan for the 22nd Junior Eurovision, “Let’s Bloom,” has been formulated by the host broadcaster, RTVE.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Caja Mágica, a venue with a capacity of 5,000 to 7,000 spectators. The stage design will feature organic elements, reflecting the theme of blossoming.
As is tradition, the GPB’s First Channel will provide a live broadcast of the show.
