Georgian, Canadian Foreign Ministers discuss bilateral relations

As part of her visit to Canada, Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili met with her Canadian counterpart, Anita Anand.

According to Botchorishvili, the meeting focused on bilateral relations between Georgia and Canada.

“We discussed bilateral relations between Georgia and Canada, political dialogue and cooperation in multilateral formats, as well as prospects for further deepening cooperation,” Botchorishvili wrote on social media.

During her visit to Toronto, the Georgian Foreign Minister also met with Ahmed Hussen, Chair of the Canadian Parliament’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development.

“We discussed cooperation between the two countries and prospects for deepening political and trade-economic relations,” Botchorishvili wrote.
