Within the International Institute for Strategic and Technological Initiatives, Georgian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili met with her Serbian counterpart, Marko Đurić.
According to the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on key issues on the agenda of relations between Georgia and the Republic of Serbia, as well as opportunities to further deepen bilateral dialogue.
The discussion addressed prospects for signing a free trade agreement, the implementation of investment projects in both countries, and the exchange of experience in this area.
“The ministers once again reaffirmed their strong mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of both countries within their internationally recognized borders. They also noted the challenges on the path to European integration and the need for continued efforts in this direction,” the Ministry said in a statement.
The Georgian Foreign Minister is visiting the Republic of Serbia as part of the official delegation accompanying Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili.
