Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met his Romanian counterpart Luminița Odobescu within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
The two FMs accentuated the significance of friendly relations and strategic partnership between the countries. They discussed the security environment in the region and reiterated readiness to enhance the prolific cooperation.
Ilia Darchiashvili thanked his Romanian colleague for the support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty and the country’s EU integration aspirations. He also invited Luminița Odobescu to Georgia.
