Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.
Georgian and German FMs reviewed Georgia’s EU integration process, highlighting the progress in the EC’s recommendations’ implementation.
Ilia Darchiashvili expressed hope that Georgia’s achievements would be reflected in the political decision to grant Georgia the EU candidate status.
The two ministers spoke about the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda.
Georgian FM also thanked his German colleague for support of Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
