Georgian and Finnish FMs meet in New York

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met his Finnish counterpart, Elina Maria Valtonen, within the framework of the 78th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) in New York.

The two FMs discussed cooperation issues between the countries. Ilia Darchiashvili stressed the significance of relations with Scandinavian countries for Georgia’s EU integration aspirations.

Georgian FM familiarized his Finnish colleague with the reforms, which Georgia carried out while fulfilling the EC’s recommendations.
