Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held a phone conversation today with Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of Armenia.
Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Irakli Kobakhidze on his appointment to the Office of Prime Minister and wished him success in his future endeavours.
During the phone conversation, the parties discussed the prospects of strengthening and cementing the strategic partnership between the two countries, also summarizing transport, logistics, and cultural cooperation.
The Prime Ministers of Georgia and the Republic of Armenia also spoke about regional security. The importance of peace and stability in the South Caucasus Region was underlined.
The Prime Minister of Georgia received Nikol Pashinyan’s invitation to plan a visit to the Republic of Armenia in the nearest future.
