Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Slovak Republic, Konstantine Kvachakidze, congratulated the Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) on winning the Svetozar Stracina Grand Prix of the International Folk Music Festival.

“On behalf of the Georgian Embassy in the Slovak Republic and myself, I wholeheartedly congratulate the Georgian Public Broadcaster on the award received from a prestigious Slovak organization and wish it even greater success. I was honored to attend the awarding ceremony in the concert hall of the Slovak Television and Radio (STVR) and solemnly receive the prize and certificate,” he said.

Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB) won the Svetozar Stracina Grand Prix of the International Folk Music Festival with the song “Naduri,” performed by Akhali Bana Ensemble in GPB First Channel’s “Khalkhuri” (Folk) Project.
