Georgian Ambassador: Davit Gareji issue to be resolved in manner aligned with strategic partnership, friendship
“We have a positive development, which I cannot discuss at this moment. The Davit Gareji issue will certainly be resolved in a way that suits strategic partnership and friendship,” stated Zurab Pataradze, the Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan.
He emphasized the ongoing high-level political dialogue between the two countries, pointing out that commissions are actively working on the matter. Despite not revealing specific details, Pataradze assured that the issue would be resolved positively.
“Today, there is excellent communication between the leaders of Georgia and Azerbaijan. Last year and the year before, President Aliyev made an official visit to Georgia, and the Georgian Prime Minister visited Azerbaijan twice this year. Several events are planned, including the intergovernmental commission meeting in Baku this spring. I believe that through these formats, we will achieve concrete results,” Pataradze added.
