Georgian actresses win best actress award at KVIFF 2022

Georgian actresses Taki Mumladze and Mariam Khundadze have won the best actress award for their roles in the German-Georgian film A Room Of My Own (Chemi Otakhi) by Soso Bliadze, the National Film Center reports.
Georgian actors were awarded by Benicio del Toro at the closing ceremony of the 56th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
The Best Actress Award goes to Taki Mumladze and Mariam Khundadze from Georgia for their stirring portrayal of young women in the film A ROOM OF MY OWN. Taki Mumladze also co-wrote the screenplay. pic.twitter.com/FuGTyNT5oE
