Georgian actor Mikheil Gomiashvili dies at 61

Georgian cinema and theatre actor Mikheil Gomiashvili died on Monday at the age of 61, GPB First Channel learned from Marjanishvili Theatre.

He worked at Metekhi Theatre; In 1994, he joined the Marjanishvili theatre.

Mikheil Gomiashvili received the Grand Prix of the ‘Golden Mask’ International Theatre Festival in the plays Father and ART-Art.

He performed a bulk of cinema and theatre roles.
