“We wish Nikol Pashinyan every success. The Prime Minister of Georgia congratulated him on his election victory yesterday,” said Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Georgian Parliament, speaking to journalists.

According to Papuashvili, the shifting regional dynamics, the path to a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the significance of open borders, and the ongoing dialogue between the two nations are all crucial for Georgia’s stability and prosperity.

“Peace and stability in the region are of paramount importance to us, yet Georgia alone cannot secure them. All nations in the region must be committed to this shared goal. Nikol Pashinyan’s pledge to ensure peace and stability for Armenia ultimately translates into peace and stability for the entire region. Such progress will benefit every country and its people,” emphasised Shalva Papuashvili.
