Georgian and Turkish Border Police held joint training at the Vale border checkpoint.

According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), the training aims at the improvement of coordinated activities between the units of the two countries.

The training scenario covered the detention of illegal migrants and the prevention of cattle illegal transfer.

The joint training, to be held once in two years, was conducted within the Turkey-Georgia bilateral 2021 cooperation agreement.
