Georgia tops 2023 best wine destinations

Georgia was ranked first among the world’s top ten wine destinations in 2023, the National Tourism Administration reported on Monday.

VinePair, one of the major digital wine platforms in the US, wrote an article recommending people visit Georgia and taste wine in Kakheti.

In addition to Georgia, France, Portugal, Peru, Italy, Spain, Croatia, New Zealand, California, and Texas were named the best destinations.

“The article discusses Kakheti’s cellars, wineries, and museums. These include the Tsinandli Museum. Visitors visiting the Tsinandli estate can see 15,000 bottles of wine produced in 1814, as well as the vineyards, according to VinePair,” the National Tourism Administration stated.
