Georgia to submit EU Questionnaire's 2nd part before deadline, FM says

According to Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili, Georgia will submit the second part of the EU Accession Questionnaire before the deadline, with the hope of the process being successful.

“Georgian Prime Minister has handed over the filled-in questionnaire to the EU Ambassador Carl Hartzel. It is a major stage in the entire process that hopefully would be successful for Georgia. It was a responsible and time-consuming process, which involved all government agencies on the instructions of the Prime Minister. We continue to work on the second part of the questionnaire, which is quite voluminous and sectoral in content. We plan to submit it to the EU promptly and early,” Ilia Darchiashvili said.

Georgian PM Irakli Garibashvili Monday submitted the first part of the EU questionnaire to the EU Ambassador to Georgia Carl Hartzell at the Government Administration.
