Georgia will assume the chairmanship of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation starting April 13, 2026, the Georgian Embassy in Austria announced.

According to the embassy, a symbolic handover ceremony took place on March 25 during the final session of the French chairmanship.

“Georgia will chair the Forum for Security Co-operation until September 4, after which the United Kingdom will assume the role,” the statement said.

The Forum for Security Co-operation is one of the key decision-making bodies of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, focusing on strengthening security and stability across member states.
