Georgia to apply for hosting 2028 Champions League final

The Georgian Prime Minister, Irakli Kobakhidze, announced at the Cabinet meeting that the country will apply to host the 2028 Champions League final.

“We will apply to host the 2028 Champions League final at the newly built stadium. It will be a major gift for Georgian fans. Our capital will have a unique stadium,” Kobakhidze stated.

Additionally, the Prime Minister announced plans to construct a new stadium in Georgia.
