Georgia supplied Ukraine with 25 high-power generators. Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili instructed the Georgian State Energy System of the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development to acquire the generators.
The generators will allow Ukrainian hospitals, restaurants, and other primary facilities to function in the case of an emergency.
Ukraine’s Chargé d’Affaires in Georgia, Andrii Kasianov, who attended the dispatch alongside Georgia’s Deputy Economy Minister Romeo Mikautadze, praised Georgians for their substantial support of Ukraine through tough times.
“Since the war began, the Georgian government and people have spared no effort to support the Ukrainian people,” Deputy Economic Minister said.
