Georgia scraps self-isolation rule for COVID-contacts

Under the Georgian Government’s fresh move, people will not be legally bound to self-isolate after having contact with COVID-19 patients.

Until now, the contacts were required to enter an eight-day isolation, followed by a face mask rule for 9-12 days.

However, the government “strictly” recommends a ten-day face-mask rule after having close contact with a Covid-infected.
