Georgia reported 968 coronavirus cases, 903 recoveries, and 16 deaths on Sunday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 527 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 95 cases and the Samegreo-Zemo Svaneti region with 75 cases.
A total of 23 742 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 12 308 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 11 434 were PCR tests.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4,08%, while 4,96 % in the past 14 days.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 330 375, among them, 308 821 people recovered and 4 442 died.
As of today, 88 522 people got the coronavirus vaccine.
There are 67 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 4 331 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 668 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
