Georgia reports 776 coronavirus cases, 1 329 recoveries, 16 deaths
Georgia has reported 776 coronavirus cases, 1,329 recoveries, and 16 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show.
31 982 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 20 394 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 11 588 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 359 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 84 cases and the Imereti region with 81 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 326 441, among them, 306 264 people recovered and 4 379 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 2,43%, while 5,56% in the past 14 days.
There are 73 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 4 278 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 710 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
As of today, 77 343 people got the coronavirus vaccine.
