Georgia reports 669 coronavirus cases, 637 recoveries, 21 deaths

Georgia reported 669 coronavirus cases, 637 recoveries, and 21 deaths on Friday, the official figures show.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 285 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 119 cases and Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti with 79 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 256 956, among them 247 096 people recovered and 3 148 died.

There are 521 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 2 731 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 322 people are treated at Covid Hotels.
