Georgia reported 586 coronavirus cases, 605 recoveries, and 5 deaths from May 16 to May 22 period, the official figures show, with Omicron B.A.2 strain predominating.

A total of 113 058 tests were conducted throughout the country. Among them, 103 058 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10 568 were PCR tests.

The test-positivity rate in the past week stands at 0. 52%.
