Georgia reports 4 565 coronavirus cases, 2 285 recoveries, 78 deaths

Georgia reported 4 565 coronavirus cases, 2 285 recoveries, and 78 deaths on Saturday, the official figures show.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 1 753 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 810 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 413 cases.

A total of 56 018 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 32 330 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 23 688 were PCR tests.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 8, 15 %, while 10, 01 % in the past 14 days.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 780 391 among them 711 105 people recovered and 10 894 died.

There are 49 people quarantined, 6 755 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 1 295 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are placed at the government-assigned facilities.

As of November 13, 2 041 209 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 7 800 in a day.
