Georgia reports 399 coronavirus cases, 356 recoveries, 10 deaths

Georgia reported 399 coronavirus cases, 356 recoveries, and ten deaths on Thursday, the official figures show.

25,638 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 15,093 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10,545 were PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 137 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 68 cases and the Adjara region with 27 cases.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 279,027, among them, 271,278 people recovered and 3,732 died.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 1,56 %, while 1.58% in the past 14 days.

There are 262 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 1,515 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 195 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

Currently, out of 302 critical patients, 86 require mechanical ventilation.
