Georgia reported 3,886 coronavirus cases, 4,103 recoveries, and 74 deaths on September 1, the official figures show.

52,162 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 30,129 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 22,033 were PCR tests.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 553,697, among them, 497,517 people recovered and 7,482 died.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 7,45 %, while 9,36% in the past seven days.

There are 111 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 7,393 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 2,454 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.

As of today, 1,210,746 people got coronavirus jab with 26,201 in a day.
