Georgia reports 368 coronavirus cases, 1,225 recoveries, 8 deaths

Georgia reported 368 coronavirus cases, 1,225 recoveries, and 8 deaths on March 21, the official figures show.

A total of 5,885 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 3,783 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2,102 were PCR tests.

Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 193 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Imereti region with 48 cases, and the Kakheti region with 41 cases.

The daily test-positivity rate stands at 6,25%, while 8,23% in the last week.

Georgia’s total case tally reached 1,642,242, among them 1,599,511 people recovered and 16,671 died.

As of today, 2,842,541 people got the Covid-19 vaccine, with 130 in a day.
