Georgia reports 3 Covid-19 reinfection cases

Georgia detected three Covid-19 reinfection cases, Head of the Department of Communicable Diseases of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC), Khatuna Zakhashvili, reported on Thursday.

NCDC representative touched upon the vaccination for cancer and asthma patients and during pregnancy.

Zakhashvili said the Covid-19 jabs during pregnancy are not directly recommended as no studies have been done so far.

As to cancer and asthma patients, they should duly get a Covid-19 jab since they have a high risk of developing virus-related complications. She added that any vaccination side effects would be fully managed.
