Georgia reports 1 791 new coronavirus cases, 2 413 recoveries

Georgia has reported 1 791 new coronavirus cases, and 2 413 recoveries today – Natia Mezvrishvili, Head of Governmental Administration said during the briefing.

In total, Georgia’s confirmed coronavirus cases increased to 40 727. The number of recovered patients reached 25 104.

The 28 more patients died of the virus in Georgia in the last 24 hours. The virus-related death toll stands at 335 in the country.

The 41 people are brought from abroad for medical treatment. Currently, 3 007 people are in quarantine, 29 565 in self-isolation, 4 188 – placed at hospitals, 8 870 – undergoing treatment at home.
