Georgia reports 1 433 coronavirus cases, 1 160 recoveries, 18 deaths
Georgia has reported 1,433 coronavirus cases, 1 160 recoveries, and 18 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 904 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 146 cases, and the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 99 cases.
29,024 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 11,185 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17,839 were PCR tests.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 308,834, among them, 289,976 people recovered and 4,095 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4,94%, while 4,54% in the past 14 days.
As of today, in total 43,568 people got the coronavirus vaccine.
There are 217 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 3,765 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 718 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
