Georgia reported 1 226 coronavirus cases, 688 recoveries, and 10 deaths on Thursday, the official figures show.
27 995 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours throughout the country. Among them, 13 456 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14 539 were PCR tests.
Georgian capital Tbilisi recorded the highest number of 731 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region with 75 cases, and the Adjara region with 101 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally reached 300 264, among them, 283 557 people recovered and 3 981 died.
The daily test-positivity rate stands at 4,38%, while 3,55% in the past 14 days.
There are 224people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 3 424 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 621 asymptomatic, and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
As of today, 33 337 people got the coronavirus vaccine.
