Georgia observes mourning day to honor victims of the landslide in western Shovi resort.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Saturday signed a decree declaring Monday as a day of mourning to honor the victims of a landslide that hit western Georgia’s Shovi resort, killing at least 18 people, including children.

The flags will be at half mast in Georgia from 00:00 on August 7 to 00:00 on August 8, the Government Administration said earlier.
